Exclusions

Exclusions

  • After market parts installed in place of manufacturer’s parts
  • Any breakdowns caused by unrecommended use of the vehicle by manufacturer
  • Breakdowns where a repair has been neglected
  • Damage of a covered part by a non-covered part
  • Emissions and exhaust components
  • hybrid & electric batteries
  • Modifications or alterations made to vehicle that are not recommended by the manufacturer
  • Pre-existing conditions
  • Repairs caused by bad or wrong fuel
  • Repairs caused by improper engine adjustments
  • Repairs made outside of the USA or Canada
  • Repairs required because of fraud, collision, abuse, road hazards, etc. (typically covered by casualty insurance)
  • Repair required because of improper care of vehicle in contrast to the recommended behaviors outlined
  • Repairs when the odometer does not show true milage
  • When a repair is the responsibility of a manufacturer’s warranty or insurance
