*Breakdown of the Transmission/ Transaxle case is covered only if caused by the failure of an internally lubricated covered part

Transfer Unit

All internally lubricated parts of the 4 x 4 Transfer Case.

*Breakdown of the Transfer Case is covered if caused by the failure of an internally lubricated part.

Limit of Liability - $2,500

Drive Axle

All internally lubricated parts

*Drive axle housing is also covered if damage is caused by Breakdown of an internally lubricated part

Seals and gaskets are only covered when required in connection with the replacement or repair of a covered part.

All internally lubricated parts of the factory installed turbocharger/ supercharger

*Covered if the internally lubricated parts cause a Breakdown of the turbocharger/supercharger housing.

Exclusions

After market parts installed in place of manufacturer’s parts

Any breakdowns caused by unrecommended use of the vehicle by manufacturer

Breakdowns where a repair has been neglected

Damage of a covered part by a non-covered part

Emissions and exhaust components

hybrid & electric batteries

Modifications or alterations made to vehicle that are not recommended by the manufacturer

Pre-existing conditions

Repairs caused by bad or wrong fuel

Repairs caused by improper engine adjustments

Repairs made outside of the USA or Canada

Repairs required because of fraud, collision, abuse, road hazards, etc. (typically covered by casualty insurance)

Repair required because of improper care of vehicle in contrast to the recommended behaviors outlined

Repairs when the odometer does not show true milage

When a repair is the responsibility of a manufacturer’s warranty or insurance
