EV is the first program designed specifically for electric vehicles, offering exclusionary coverage that includes components often excluded elsewhere—like the battery.

It also covers hybrid vehicles, protecting both electric and non-electric powertrain components.

Exclusionary
Limits of Liability: The aggregate limit of liability for each Service Contract will be the lessor of the average trade in value of the Vehicle as provided by the NADA guidelines as of the date of a filed claim, or $25,000. Once the maximum limit of liability has been reached, this Contract, its transfer and cancellation rights terminate.

Breakdown of the electric battery or hybrid battery or battery pack shall mean the breakdown of the electric battery or hybrid electric battery or battery pack causing degradation to its ability to hold adequate charge. The allowable capacity before a claim will be paid is the lesser of 70% or the manufacturer’s capacity allowance.

  • Engine block and cylinder heads are not covered if damage is caused by external overheating, freezing, or warping.
  • Any other part not listed in SECTION IV. COVERAGE of this Contract.
